Every product manufactured by Catalyst Bio Labs is held to a strict internal quality standard before it ever reaches a third-party laboratory. Our protocols are built around one principle: if we wouldn't use it ourselves, we won't sell it. That means no shortcuts on synthesis, no skipped steps in purification, and no batch released without full documentation.
We believe the research community deserves better than vague claims and self-reported purity numbers. That's why every batch we produce is independently verified — and every result is available to you before, during, and after your purchase.
Testing Process
How Every Batch Is Verified
Our multi-step testing process is designed to catch any deviation from specification before a product ships. Each stage builds on the last, giving us — and you — complete confidence in what's in the vial.
Synthesis & Internal QC
Each peptide is synthesized under controlled conditions and passes an initial in-house review for yield, appearance, and preliminary purity before proceeding.
HPLC / UPLC Purity Analysis
High-performance liquid chromatography confirms the purity percentage of every batch. We require a minimum of 98% purity — most of our products exceed 99%.
Mass Spectrometry Identity Confirmation
LC-MS or UPLC/MS analysis verifies the molecular identity of each compound against its theoretical mass, ensuring the product is exactly what it claims to be.
Endotoxin Testing
All applicable products are tested for bacterial endotoxins using the LAL assay. Batches must conform to specification — typically below 5 EU/mg — before release.
Third-Party Labs
Independent Verification You Can Trust
We don't ask you to take our word for it. Every batch is sent to an accredited third-party laboratory — independent of Catalyst Bio Labs — for final analysis. The results are reported directly on each Certificate of Analysis, which you can view and download for any product we sell.
Our laboratory partners operate under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and follow validated analytical protocols. When their report says 99.3% purity, that number means something.

Full Transparency, Every Batch
Every product we sell has a Certificate of Analysis on file. Each COA documents the batch number, test date, purity result, identity confirmation, endotoxin status, molecular formula, and the name of the testing laboratory. Nothing is hidden and nothing is estimated.
